in other, more normal news, i removed the trackbacks from the blog. no one uses them, and they clutter up google with useless crap anyway. i was going to do it a while ago, but i got sidetracked.

well, you can plainly see that today's comic, as i predicted, is not a comic. it's the first of two drawings that i've been working on for the better part of a month. tell me your opinions.

okay, the comic is up. next week's comic won't actually be a comic, per se, it will just be a drawing - a piece of art - that i've been working on and just recently finished.
happily, though, it will be on time.
edit: starting tomorrow, the link to the Waffle5 store will be on the sidebar. it will replace the link for the blog, since it has its own frame. it has for a long time, and i was just too lazy to fix it. well, no longer. if you really want to check out the store beforehand, go here. there are three items available for purchase right now, with more (like a hat, james!) on the way.
also, there will be also be two, not one, two "comics" next week. they'll look familiar. the first none of you have seen, save for sketch format. the second some of you have seen. the first one will be up on monday, the second on wednesday. i hope to have something special on friday.

draw me sketch!
normally i'd just post this elsewhere (like on hypocracy or v3nt), but i think it's the most obvious place that both james and andrea look.. i apologize for the crappiness, but it's the best i could do. this is the original.
well, okay, not the best i could do, but i was pressed for time. it's hard to clean up a drawing, especially one made in charcoal. (charcoal, yes?) i prefer line drawings, but i think, all things considered, it looks pretty decent.. i guess.

unfortunately, i will have to break with the "comic every monday" shtick this week. i hope to get the comic up by tuesday. i just didn't have time to scan in the comic, much less color it.
on another note: send your line-art. this means you, andrea and james. and anyone else who has art. i have an angel i'm working on, as well as some depressing people.
