guest comic and an apology
i'm still gathering my thoughts and comics. not to mention i have, as of yet, no way to make comics and make them look nice. sure, they could be gif format, but they would be in black and white. i'm working on getting a copy of photoshop, even a trial version, but it's slow going. we'll see.
in the meantime, we have a christmas (okay, late christmas) comic, done by my brother. the contents are drawn by me, but formed into an entirely new comic sprung from the mind of peter. enjoy.
i am not lazy. i actually have quite a bit of comics in the works, including two, count 'em, two, 'dunks comics.

whew! what a relief
I am VERY glad to hear that you will be keeping the comic around. The thought that you wouldn't scared me a lot. Anyway, I'd MUCH rather have 3 days a week than not at all!
happy 21st birthday to me!

you love me, you really love me!
i honestly didn't expect this much repsonse. many people (my dad included!) have told me how they don't want the comic to end. as for myself, i want to continue the comic as well. it is stressful, doing this and going to school and holding 2 jobs. but i'll pull through. money would help.
ahem.
yeah. so, i will continue the comic.. chances are, i'll be posting less often, say, 3 times a week instead of 5. something like that.

a sad day
wednesday, december 31, will mark the end of waffle5 comics. i won't make any more comics after that. maybe sooner. waffle5 hasn't been up long, but it has been fun. i can't say that i won't miss it, but it's just not worth it. it's not worth doing something that drains me so much that no one appreciates. i wish it were different, but i think this is best.
i will keep the blog around. i'll hand over the administration to james, who is more trustworthy, i feel, than jason. sorry, jason. he can do what he wants with it, even discard it if he wants. so that's that.
this hurts. physically. i feel so empty.

on drumsticks and blogs
a nice little after-thanksgiving comic for you. it wasn't originally, but i thought the change of script fit nicely.
i started a new weblog to keep my thoughts and rants on. from now on, my posts here will have to do with comics and friends (and other related stuff like that). if you want the blog's link, email me. show me you're interested. the point is for my own thoughts more than anything else, and while i have no problem pouring out my heart (my closer friends, you know this), i don't think i'd be comfortable just handing out the link to everyone.
or maybe i'm just crazy.

papers, projects, and cancer sticks, oh my
james, i'm glad you like it. calc paper? that is the gheyest thing i've ever heard. yeah.
i had a group presentation in my networking class yesterday evening. it went well, i thought. even the teacher's pet - i mean assistant - thought it was well done. but our presentation was the only one the professor commented on and criticized. granted, he said nothing about our speaking.. but he said that we neglected to mention support costs.. but there was at least one other group that did that. and he didn't say a thing to them! grr.
anyhoo.
today's cartoon is another "product." anyone who knows me knows that i abhor smoking. ah, the irony.

yes I do
I told you, I do like mine. I merely questioned what was in my mouth. You'll have to forgive my slowness or lack of responses on AIM - it is due to my horrible calculus paper. yes, you heard me. Calculus paper.

yes, jason. even i could do better.
you have a gay friend? BESIDES jason? so he couldn't "take it," huh. or did you have problems "giving it"?

And now, a video game review
Okay, so last night I went out and picked up the demo disc for the Jason Ganos-inspired video game, "Gayheart." I must say, this is the gayest video game I have ever played. It is SO gay it is not even funny. My one gay friend came over to play the multiplayer with me, and he couldn't take it because it was too effeminate for him. It therefore stands to reason that the final release of this game will be the gayest game ever made. Ever.
And I loved it.
Oh, Jason, why must you leave yourself so open to insult?
You'd think you could at least learn how to use PhotoShop while setting yourself up for this kind of crap...

and now for something different
today's "strip" is bit of change-up from the usual. it's much, MUCH better than what it was originally, on paper. and in COLOR.
nothing much to say.. just that i have a lot of catching up to do.
and the forums got erased.. and then brought back online. not like anyone cares. i don't think i'll fix them to the point they were at before. no one uses them anyway.
and jason? your photoshopping abilities (or should i say lack thereof?) leave something to be desired.
